OUR PROCESS
At Together Strong, every new client begins with an Initial Consultation at our clinic. Whether you are seeking general physiotherapy, guidance for bone health and strength training, women’s health support or you feel ready to join one of our classes, this first appointment ensures you start on the right path.
During your consultation, your physiotherapist will take a comprehensive history, including your current concerns, goals, medical background and exercise experience. We then complete a detailed movement assessment to understand how your body moves, identify areas of strength or limitation and determine any specific considerations for safe loading and progression.
From there, we will guide you toward the most appropriate next step. This may involve individual physiotherapy treatment, a tailored strength program, bone health guidance, women’s health care or recommendation into one of our small-group classes.
Beginning with an Initial Consultation allows us to provide individualised care, ensuring your exercise and rehabilitation plan is safe, targeted and aligned with your goals.
How Do I start?
1. Your Initial Consultation
Book a 60-minute consultation with a physiotherapist to assess your needs.
For strength and bone health, book an Initial Strength Consultation
For pelvic health, prenatal or postnatal book an Initial Women’s Health Consultation
For advice and treatment for a muscle, joint or tendon injury book an Initial musculoskeletal Consultation
2. Your Second Consultation
In the gym, your physiotherapist will guide you through your personalised program and ensure you perform each exercise confidently.
3. Join a Small Group Class
Next, you’ll join a small group class supervised by a physiotherapist. Regular attendance — ideally two sessions per week — is key to improving strength, bone health, and overall function
4. Ongoing Reviews and Progression
Book a review every 4-5 months to keep your program safe, effective, and challenging.
