Learn to Lift is designed for women who want to build strength safely and confidently while understanding the why behind each movement. This small-group program teaches progressive strength training principles that directly support bone health, muscle strength, and long-term resilience, empowering you to train with confidence both inside and outside the studio.
This program is ideal if you:
Are new to strength training
Want to understand how to lift safely and effectively
Want to support or future-proof your bone density
Prefer guided, progressive, evidence-based strength training
Want to optimise body composition and counter physical changes associated with perimenopause or menopause
Each participant completes an initial assessment to tailor exercises to their ability, goals, and safety. Led by physiotherapists and experienced movement educators, classes provide high-quality coaching in a supportive, small-group setting. As your strength and skill improve, the program progressively increases in challenge to deliver meaningful, long-term results.

Osteoporosis affects 1 in 5 women over 50 in Australia and can impact physical function, confidence, and independence. While bone density peaks in our late 20s, the right exercise can help maintain—and even improve—bone strength at any stage of life.
Our small-group, physiotherapist-led classes are designed for women with osteopenia, osteoporosis, or those at risk. Classes focus on weight-bearing and progressive strength training to improve:
Bone density
Muscle strength and mobility
Balance and fall prevention
Posture and confidence
Energy levels and everyday function
Each participant completes an initial assessment so exercises are tailored to ability, goals, and safety. Sessions are guided by current clinical guidelines and closely supervised to ensure safe progression in a supportive, non-intimidating environment.
