why together Strong?

Together Strong was created to bridge the gap between clinical knowledge and real-world strength training for women over 40.

Many women are motivated to train but are unsure how hard to lift, what is safe, or whether their training is truly supporting bone health and long-term wellbeing. Too often, they are underloaded, given generic programs, or left without the education needed to train with confidence.

Together Strong offers something different.

Our programs are built on current research, sound biomechanics, and progressive overload, personalised to you and delivered by experienced clinicians who understand the unique physiological changes women experience through midlife. We combine professional coaching with the motivation and accountability of small-group training, so women not only achieve results—but sustain them.

This is a space for women who value quality, expertise, and long-term outcomes. Where strength is taught, not guessed. Where training is purposeful, progressive, and empowering. And where community plays a central role in helping women stay consistent, capable, and strong for life.

Our Services

  • We provide physiotherapy care for women of all ages presenting with a wide range of conditions, including neck and back pain, headaches, shoulder, hip, knee and ankle injuries.

  • Learn to Lift is designed for women who want to build strength safely and confidently. This program is designed to teach women the why behind strength training for bone and muscle health.

  • Our small-group, physiotherapist-led bone strength classes are designed for people with osteopenia, osteoporosis, or those at risk.

  • Our pelvic floor and women’s health consultations are delivered by physiotherapists with advanced training in women’s health and pelvic floor rehabilitation.

  • At Together Strong, our prenatal classes combine pregnancy-specific and functional exercise, with a strong emphasis on core and pelvic floor strength. Each class is carefully designed for pregnancy and combines strength training, Pilates, rehabilitation and stretching.

  • At Together Strong, our postnatal classes are designed to support your return to exercise in a safe and effective way after having a baby. We understand the physical demands of early motherhood, and our sessions are structured to help you rebuild confidence and strength as your body recovers.
